She was born Sept. 30, 1919 in McGuffey to Joe and Clara (Dunson) Ellison. On Sept. 4, 1936, she married Ray E. Iams, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dennis Iams of Devine, Texas, a daughter, Valera (James) Kistler of Elyria; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joe (Alice) Ellison of Ada.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Ellison and a sister, Hazel Wisse.
Mrs. Iams was a homemaker and for several years was a co-owner of Iams Grocery Store in McGuffey.
Services were held Wednesday morning, Sept. 27 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Lee Myers was the officiating minister. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
