Prominent Lady of Mott's Mill Community Passes Away ~ Mrs. Emily A. Gibson died at her home at Mott's Mill, Ala., yesterday morning at 11:15 o'clock after an illness of eighteen weeks of rheumatic affection and general ill health. On the 13th of this month she arrived at her 76th milestone, having been born on that day in the year 1830. She was a member of the Methodist church and practiced in daily life the principles of her religion. Mrs. Gibson is survived by three sons, Mr. O.H. Gibson of Austin, Texas and Messrs. G.F. and W.H. Gibson of Flat River, Mo., one daughter, Mrs. Mary H. Meadows of Mott's Mill, and one sister, Mrs. J.H. Curran of Atlanta. The funeral will take place from the late residence at ten o'clock this morning. The services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Williams. Interment will be at Mt. Zion church, Smith's Station.
