Troy Collins died at the age of 48, as the result of a car accident, near El Dorado, Kansas. He resided in Eureka, Kansas, the son of Betty Jean (Gaston) Collins and Delmar Alfonso Collins. He lived in McPherson County, Kansas, most his life. He graduated from Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, Colorado. He had served in the 82nd Airborne ofthe Army, as a Paratrooper, serving over in the Middle East. He is survived by: His former wife, Lori Lyons, of McPherson, Kansas, three sons, Troy Collins Jr. of McPherson, Kansas, Andrew Collins of McPherson, Kansas, and Elijah Collins of Newton, Kansas, and a daughter, Holly Walline of Topeka, Kansas, two half-brothers, Gary Martindale of Frazier, Pennsylvania, and James Martindale of Philadelphia, Pennsylvaniaq, two half-sisters, Sandy Easley of Wenatchee, Washington, and Janice Garrison, of Baltimore, Maryland, plus two grandchildren.
