She was born July 15, 1917, in Springfield, the daughter of Michael and Elizebeth Booker.
She married Ashley Boysel Sr. in 1937; he preceded her in death on January 21, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a sister; and three brothers.
Mrs. Boysel, a lifelong resident of Springfield, was a homemaker.
She was a member of Church of the Little Flower and graduated from Feitshans High School.
Surviving are a son, Ashley (Mary Beth) Boysel Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Monsignor John Ossola officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
