Charles Adams Dies After a Long Illness.
Charles M. Adams, 47, for 23 years a resident of this city and for many years in the employ of the Santa Fe Railway company here as a conductor, died at 9 o'clock this morning, at the family home 611 South B street.
Mr. Adams had been an invalid for four years. He was a member of the local railway conductors order and was well known over the Oklahoma division, having been on a run out of this city to the south for a number of years.
The widow and one daughter, Miss Marian, survive. A brother, Max Adams who is a conductor running out of this city, survives, together with the following other relatives: Harry Adams, a brother of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. M. Adams and a sister, Mrs. B. Campbell, of Shawnee, Okla.; and Mrs. Pearl Maxwell, a sister, of Oklahoma City. All are here at present except the brother in Florida.
Arrangements for the funeral services and burial have not been completed. Oldroyd is in charge.
