Hattie Lorraine Ayres Julian, 85, of Olney, IL. formerly of Oakland City, IN, died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 1995 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 1995 in Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Pastor Rick Harris officiated. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Flora, Il.
Mrs. Julian was born December 12, 1909 in Montrose, IL, the daughter of John and Vallie (Feller) Sehie. She married Arnold S. Ayres, in Flora, IL, September 16, 1927. He preceded her in death April 13, 1971. She married Cletus Julian June 26, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death January 9, 1991.
She was a retired cook at Olney Elks and also worked at the Garment Factory. Mrs. Julian was a member of the Olney Church of God and was a member of Eastern Star in Oakland City, IN.
Survivors include one son, Alan Luther Ayres and wife, Laura, of Flat Rock, IL; three daughters, Mrs. Don (Agnes Arlene) Stanley, of Olney, IL, Mrs. Fred (Alice Jo) Bertram, of Robinson, IL, and Mrs. Jim (Anita Pauline) Shehorn, of Olney, IL. ; a daughter-in-law, Linda Fiscus, of Sumer, IL; three brothers, John L. Sehie, of Kimberling City, MO, Clifford Sehie, of Nixa, MO. and Bernard Sehie, of Clay City, IL; two sisters, Pauline Sehie, of Flora, IL, and Lieuzetta Connerly, of Hord, IL; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son, Adrian Arno "Buddy" Ayres, two sons-in-law, Jim Shehorn and Darrel Carter, and two brothers, Anthony Sehie and Harold Sehie.
