Donald K. Cardy, 77, of Chicago, a retired vice president of Scholl Manufacturing Co., died Saturday in Resurrection Nursing Home in Park Ridge. Dr. Cardy worked at Scholl for 40 years. For the last 15 years he was a trustee on the board of Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He served with the Army Medical Corps in World War II in the Pacific and belonged to Serra Club International, a group concerned with promoting Catholic priesthood. Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; two sons, William and Donald; three daughters, Mary Cardy, Carol Cardy and Sally Mosko; two sisters; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 3 to 9 p.m. in Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary of the Woods Church, 7033 N. Moselle Ave.
