He practiced dentistry for 40 years from 1951 until 1991. He loved dentistry and regarded his patients as family. He was a lifetime member of Congregation Beth Jacob. He was also a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, Jewish War Veterans, and the Silver Wings Flyers Group. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. The most important aspect of his life was his family.
He was preceded in death by brothers: Morty and Aaron Berger; sister and brother in law, Dora and Ben Weinstein, and sister, Esther Rabhan, of loving memory. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Joyce Berger; brother, Israel Berger, Dallas, TX; brother and sister in law, Leonard and Sara Ann Berger, Baltimore, MD; son, Bruce Berger; son and daughter in law, Eddie and Susan Berger; daughter and son in law, Raye Ida and Douglas Gray; daughter and son in law, Marsha Berger and Robert Brochstein, grandchildren: Rachel, Michael and Daniel Gray, Sophie, Maddy and Winston Berger and Nate Brochstein, as well as several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law.
