Monroe "Red" Robbms. 68, of Sheldon, died Monday morning December 28, 1987, at his home following a sudden illness.

Mr. Robbins was born May 3, 1919 in Orange County. Indiana, to Thomas and Lora King Robbins.

Survivors include four daughters Joan Sweeney of Bourbonnais, Jean Atwood of Bradley, Janet Morefield of Sheldon and Mary Ellen Potter of Lincoln; one son, Ernest of Sheldon; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alonzo and Victor. both of Paoli, Indiana; and four sisters, Faith Beach of Huntsville, Alabama, Ollie Burton of Stockland and Olive and Ruth Burton, both of Sheldon.

Mr. Robbins was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
