Mrs. Elizabeth Albers, aged 61 years, mother of Dr. E. A. Albers, and wife of Judge Gabe Albers, died at her home in Smithton Tuesday evening. She was born near Marietta, Ohio, her maiden name being Elizabeth Knox.
She was married at Smithton forty six years ago to Judge Albers, who survives. Also surviving are three children, E. A. and Elmer Albers, and Mrs. Laura Somerville, and three brothers, Judge C. W., John and William F. Knox. - Sedalia Democrat - Wednesday, January 16, 1916 pg.8
