Gertrude Dell Bennett, 94, died Friday, May 28, 1999 in Columbia. Services will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 1999 at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hendren officiating. Burial will be Columbia Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 8 Monday May 31, 1999, at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Bennett was born August 7, 1904 in Cooper County to Warren Woodson and Amelia Jane Kanztzer Forsee. In December 1922, she married Marvin Eugene Bennett in Boonville, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, four daughters, Ethel Maloney and Della Bennett, both of Anaheim, Calif., and (Private) a brother James Forsee of Boonville; a sister, (Private) 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 32 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Buddy Bennett, James Bennett and Billy Bennett.
