Eli H. Ankney of Paulding township died quite suddenly July 6th, 1911 of neuralgia of the heart aged 42 years 5 months and 23 days. He was the son of the late David Ankney. He was married to Martha Kennedy, June 14,1898. He is survived by his aged mother,his widow and three children, as well by two full brothers and three sisters. There are three half brothers and one adopted sister. The funeral services were last Sunday in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, of which he was a consistent member. Rev. A.C. Wuchter officiated, his remains were laid to rest in Park's cemetery in Emerald township. Two infant children preceded him in death.
