He married Cleo L. Cook on Oct. 4, 1942, in Richland Center. She preceded him in death on July 17, 1996.
He worked for 40 years at Butler Manufacturing, enjoyed welding while he could, and working around the home putzing.
He is survived by his four children, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Olsen Funeral Home in Jefferson with the Rev. Richard Akins officiating.
