Locust Dale Woman Died Last Night

After an extended illness which became serious during the past few days Minnie Bodman, wife of Thomas Schaeffer, died at her home at Locust Dale last night. She was 43.
Mrs. Schaeffer was born and raised in Locust Dale and spent all her life there. She was a lady of fine character and was held in the highest esteem. For some years she taught in the Conyngham township schools.
Surviving is her husband, Thomas, and one son, Thomas, Jr., and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Hazel G. Kaufman, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Elmer Lauer, of Ashland; Roy, of Reading; William, Mrs. Rose McGuire and Miss H. Martha, of Locust Dale.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at two o?clock with short services first at the home of her sister, Mrs. Rose McGuire, after which the body will be taken to the Evangelical Church at Locust Dale, where services will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. G.S. Albright. Kull Brothers are in charge.
