Son of James A and Mary Jane Andrew was circuit riding Methodist Minister husband of Nora Plummer Barton father to Ferva, Clara, OLVA, Jack, Mirth, Parley, and Orlena. Moved to Mtn. Grove, Mo. area in 1910 and was a farmer naming his family farm "Show You Farm" located near "post oak flats".
