DEATH OF MRS. J. G. LEONARD, GOOD WOMAN GOES TO HER REWARD

Though a Sufferer for Months, She Was Cheerful to the End

After months of suffering Mrs. J. G. Leonard died last evening at 8 o'clock at the Whitaker hospital. The deceased was an old resident, of this city and will be mourned by a large circle of friends, who held her dear because of her estimable character and kindly words and deeds.

She was a native of Chesaning, Michigan, and was aged 52 years. A greater portion of her life was spent in California. With her family she came to Reno ten years ago and resided here ever since.

The deceased is survived by a husband, Dr. J. G. Leonard, and five children: Mrs. Andrew Archibald, Leo, Ray, Frank and Tro, all but Ray being residents of this city. He is at present In the Northwestern Dental College, Chicago.

The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Riverside undertaking parlors. It will probably be under the auspices of the Masonic lodge. The interment will be In Masonic cemetery.
