PANHANDLE - Vance Osborn, 85, died Thursday.

Services are pending with Smith Funeral Home.

Mr. Osborn was born in Weatherford and had been a resident of Panhandle since 1952, moving here from Childress. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Golden Age Fellowship. He was retired from Pantex and was a retired farmer.

Surviving are four sons, Henry B. of Amarillo, A.G. of Stavenger [sic], Norway, S.N. of El Paso and Vance P. of San Angelo; three daughters, Mrs. Maggie Lee Simmons of Lubbock, Mrs. Mareece Grimes of Carey and Mrs. Pauline Moore of Dumas; and 23 grandchildren.
