STEVENSON, Wash., July 13. – (Special.) –
William Richmond, 66, who died at the Veterans' hospital in Portland today, will be buried here under auspices of the Odd Fellows' lodge, of which he was a member. Richmond, a veteran of the Spanish-American war, was well known in this district. He was at one time publisher of the Independent here. At the session of the Washington legislature last winter, he was state house postmaster.
