He started in the glass business in 1953. He started Nebraskaland Glass in 1965 and they moved to York in 1966. Jim was an avid pilot and was very involved with the Experimental Aircraft Assn, York Chapter. He is survived by his wife, Amy of York; children, Lori Shaw of Grand Rapids, MI., Kathy & Dave Danch of Lincoln, NE, Matt & Jody Shaw of York, Nyla Anderson and friend Kenan Young of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark & Karri Shaw of York and Pat Shaw of Lincoln; grandchildren, Ben & Rebekah Danch, Ashley (Doug) Wagner, Michael & Tommy Shaw, Mason Shaw, Justin Splain, Christian Shaw; great-grandchildren, Hannah & Abigail Hefner and Sebastian Wagner. Also surviving are two sisters Mary (Ron) Gooding and Shirley (Will) Thornburn both of Lincoln, NE; sister-in-law, Gloria Cruz Shaw of Lincoln, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Doyt. L. Shaw.
