A POOR UNFORTUNATE
Cicero Washburn is a demented character who has lived in this county all his life, and for the last twenty years in the township under the management of a guardian appointed by court. At the settlement of his father's estate, this unfortunate boy had several hundred dollars set off to him, out of which his guardians have paid for his keeping. Last week Daniel Karn settled with the court as his guardian, after which no more money being in his hands, Mr. Karn was released and Monday the man who had kept Cicero last brought him here. Tuesday Trustee Spurgeon sent him to the poorhouse where he will eke out the remainder of his miserable life. Cicero Washburn is probably sixty years old or over and has been idiotic since his birth. He was a great charge on those who cared for him.
