MOBILE COUNTY Nathaniel Abrams Jr. Nathaniel "Schatzli" Abrams Jr. , who had worked as a cook at a restaurant, died Monday. He was 36.
Abrams, also affectionately known as "Big Sausage," was a lifelong resident of Mobile.
Survivors include his wife, Chiquita Williams; eight children, Nasha Abrams, Tasha Abrams, Porscha Abrams, Darius Abrams, Demarcus Abrams, Devin Abrams, Jarvis Abrams and Nathaniel Abrams III; two stepchildren, De Anthony Carl Williams and De Kendrick Williams; his mother, Morscelee Abrams; his father, Nathaniel Abrams Sr.; and one sister, Pamela L. Carter, all of Mobile.
Viewing will be today from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Mobile. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Small's Mortuary on South Broad Street is handling arrangements.
