Bruce Robert "Bud" Fenner, 77, of Pembine, died Sunday, June 13, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mich.

Born in Niagara on May 7, 1927, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William (Anna Thoreson) Fenner. He served in the U.S. Navy in 1945 for 1 year and 3 months, and in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1949 to 1953. He married the former Ruth Fiedler on Aug. 29, 1953, in Plymouth. He worked as a machinist for many years at Case Inc. in Racine.

Survivors include one son, Darryl (Jean) Fenner of Washburn; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Delanne) Jonas of Dunbar; one son-in-law, John Markson of Racine; two sisters, Viola Lipp and Alice Baker; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; his parents; one daughter, Lois; sisters, Florence and Ruth Chevalier; brothers, Herbert Fenner, Donald Fenner, Carl Fenner and George Fenner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, at Messar Funeral Home in Wausaukee from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Rev. Gene Wickman will officiate and burial will be in the Pembine Cemetery, Pembine.
