Marilyn R. Plew

Marilyn R. Plew, 61, of 306 Edwards St., West Terre Haute, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in Union Hospital. She was a retired cook from Indiana State University Laboratory School. She was born April 16, 1927, in Terre Haute to Maurice Reitzel and Edith Bennett Reitzel. Survivors include her husband, Harold William Plew; one son, the Rev. Stephen W. Plew of Michigan City; three daughters, Deborah A. Rogers of Sanford, Fla., Darlene House of Brazil and Diana Deal of Terre Haute; two sisters, Harriet Holl of Tacoma, Wash., and Barbara Jean Elkins of Clinton; one aunt; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday in Bedino Chapel of the Valley, with Pastor Robert Thrift officiating. Burial is in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today.
