Funeral services for ARTHUR LOYD TIPTON of Marlow, Oklahoma were held at the First Baptist Church in Montague Thursday afternoon, with the pastor Rev. JOHNNIE COX officiating. Interment was in the Montague cemetery with Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Bowie in charge. Arthur Loyd was the son of Rev. and Mrs. WILLIE FLOYD TIPTON, formerly of Montague County. He was born in Montague County on October 23, 1938 and died at the home near Marlow, Wednesday, March 19, after an illness of about one month. Surviving are the parents, three brothers, HARVEY, WAYNE and RAYMOND TIPTON, and one sister Miss PEARL TIPTON, all of Marlow; a grandmother Mrs. LOUISA WHITECOTTON of Montague and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. GEORGE TIPTON of Montague.
