Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Church of the Assumption in West, with Father Rozycki officiating. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery near West.
Mr. Brennan was born April 22, 1945 in West, to Lawrence V. and Victoria Beach Brennan. He attended school in West and later attended McLennan County Community College in Waco where he received an Associate's Degree. He married Doris Wilde on August 28, 1965 in West. Mr. Brennan was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Temple and the V.F.W. in West. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. Mr. Brennan served in the Army where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal as Sharpshooter.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Brennan of Temple; one daughter, Christine Brennan Ming of Belton; one son, Michael Lee Brennan of Temple; two brothers, Lawrence C. Brennan of Dallas and Thomas C. Brennan of Garland; three sisters, Maxine Brennan Hammonds, Pat Brennan Hutyra, both of Waco and Vicky Brennan Long of Aquilla; two grandchildren, Matthew Ming and Mallory Ming, both of Belton; and 29 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dean Aycock, Eddie Wilde, Ricky Wilde, Robert Wilde, Mark Hammonds, Chuck Hammonds, Paul Hutyra, Doug Brennan, Darren Brennan and Cody Long.
Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple was in charge of arrangements.
