Mrs. John (Mary) Dvoracek, 98, of West died Thursday, April 19, in the West hospital.
Rosary was recited at 6:45 p.m. Friday in the Kotch Funeral Chapel in West. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with Rev. George Doskocil as celebrant.
Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West.
Mrs. Dvoracek was born in Moravia and came to the United States as a child. She had lived in the West area 50 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, KJZT Lodge No. 11 and the Altar-Rosary Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, December 23, 1968 and son, Joe, Feb. 1, 1971.
She is survived by two sons, John W. Dvoracek of Penelope and Louis Dvoracek of West; 11 daughters, Mrs. Leo (Irene) Whitman of Garland, Mrs. Russell (Agnes) Mullins of San Bernardino, Calif., Mrs. Frank L. (Mary) Jansa, Mrs. Charles (Julia) Dlabaj, Miss Christine Dvoracek and Miss Justine Dvoracek, all of Dallas, Mrs. N. W. (Albina) Svrcek, Mrs. Bill (Tillie) Harrison and Miss Tracy Dvoracek, all of West, Mrs. Bomar (Annie) Horton of San Angelo and Mrs. Jack (Betty) McGee of Long Beach, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Albina Zalmanof El Campo; one brother, Ed Pilcik of Industry; 27 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marvin Dvoracek, Paul Whitman, Joe Svrcek, Cyril Marek, Bobby Dlabaj and Leo Dlabaj.
