MRS. NETTIE A. FARISON

Mrs. Nettie Ann Farison, 86, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday at Midland Hospital after being admitted there earlier in the day. Mrs. Farison was a resident of Cleveland Manor. For a week prior to her death she had resided at the home of her granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wheeler of Sanford.

Mrs. Farison was born Dec. 2, 1887, in Wood County, Ohio, and attended school there. She was married to James A. Farison in North Baltimore, Ohio, Nov. 4, 1903. He died June 15, 1941.

She was a member of the East Ashman Church of God and a lifetime member of the Women's Missionary Society.

Her survivors include three sons, Homer of Beaverton, Robert of Sanford and Ernest of Battle Creek; one brother, Ernest Parson of Midland; daughter Fern Pomranky of Midland; 23 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the East Ashman Church of God with the Rev. Gilbert Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Midland cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ware-Smith Funeral Home between 3 and 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, then at the church from noon Friday until the funeral.
