Mrs. Caroline Elizabeth Thompson Armour(1883-1957, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Isabella Crews, in Bardin after a long illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Bethany Baptist Church in Bardin with Rev.Jim Wooten officiating, assisted by Rev. Melton Tucker. Interment was in Etoniah Cemetery in Bardin with Masters Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Active pallbearers were, Raleigh J. May, Bailey Glisson, Alonzo Burney, Clyde Smith, Rev. Nathan Wilkinson and Rev. Alfred Johns.
Mrs. Armour had been a resident of Putnam County for 30 years coming from Tampa. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Isabella Mae Armour Crews,of Bardin, and her son, George Arthur Armour, USAF, Myrtle Beach, S.C., two sisters, Mrs. Ida Schlecht and Mrs. E.F. Schlecht of Palatka; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Palatka Daily News Obituary.
