French Jarvis
GASSAWAY - French Jarvis of Wilsie, Braxton County, died Thursday in the Rowan Nursing Home here at the age of 97. He was a member of the Charity Baptist Church at Frametown.
Survivors: sons, Jurl and Elmer of Wilsie, Earl of Frametown; daughters, Mrs. Bessie Morris of Sand Ridge, Mrs. Chessie Rhodes of Parkersburg, Mrs. Julia Hedges of Auburn, Mrs. Lear Keener of Duck, Mrs. Losie Carr and Mrs. Pearl Dunlap of Frametown, Mrs. Erman [sic] Nicholas [sic] and Mrs. Ruby Carr of Wilsie.
Service will be held Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Charity Baptist Church, the Rev. Johnnie Alfred and the Rev. Roy Hardway officiating. Burial will be in the Sugar Creek Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at the Skidmore Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today.
