MOULTON -- Funeral for Billy Gene Caine, 64, of Moulton, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Moulton Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Henson officiating and Dr. Darl Wood and the Rev. Elmer Fowler assisting.
Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.
Mr. Caine died at home Thursday.
Born Oct. 5, 1930, in Decatur, he was a member of Moulton Baptist Church. He started churches in Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska and New Jersey. He earned his master's of divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans. He retired in 1993 from Rust Engineering in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pearsall Caine; two sons, B. Daniel Caine of Greenville, Miss., and David N. Caine of Moulton; a daughter, Ruth Caine Roubal of Jacksonville N.C.; two brothers, Cecil Caine Sr. of Moulton and A. Russel Caine of Apopka, Fla.; three sisters, Hilda Jackson of Moulton, Jane Price of Monticello, Ga., and Mr. Caine's twin, Betty Pickens of Moulton; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be B. Daniel Caine, David Nathaniel Caine, A. Russel Caine, Wendell Perry and Bill Roubal. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Caine's nephews, the men's Sunday School class at Moulton Baptist Church and a grandchild, Timothy Roubal.
