Alby B. Cutright, former resident of Macon county died in Searcy, Ark, at 10 o'clock Saturday night following an illness of a month. Death was caused by complications. Mr.Cutwright was 70 years old. He was born in Pike county,Illinois on July 3, 1861. He was a member of the Church of God in Quay, Okl, and of the Modern Woodmen Lodge in St.Clair, Mo. He had lived in Searcy for the last five years and previously was a resident of Oakley and Casner in Macon county. He was a farmer. He left Macon county 20 years ago.

Besides his widow who was the former Miss Hattie Forbes of Decatur, Mr. Cutwright leaves two sons by a former marriage, Cleve Curtright and William Curtright both of Granite city. Two half-brothers and a sister also are left. They are Benjamin Reynolds, James Reynolds and Mrs.Jacob G. Wentz.

The body arrived in Decatur Sunday morning and was taken to the Monson funeral home where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon in the Monson Chapel. Burial will be in the Union cemetery near Oreana.
