David Baird, 58, died at his home in Elk Valley Tuesday, December 12. He was the son of ex-Sheriff Sam Baird and is survived by eleven of his thirteen children. Funeral services were held in the Holiness Church in Elk Valley, Rev. Andrew Long officiating. Burial in Lawson Cemetery there. Ellison's Funeral Home in charge.
