Lucille was born on a farm near Edison, Nebraska, but spent most of her life in and around Minden. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her son, Larry, Denver, Colorado; five step-sons, two step-daughters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Merle Richardson, Minden; and three sisters, Mmes. Verle Menze, Faye Rasmussen, and Mildred Motter.
Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Layton Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Kuhlman officiating. Interment was in the Minden Cemetery. Layton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
