Bennie Washington Bolen, a retired employee with the city of Jackson's street department, died Tuesday at an area hospital. He was 71.
A native and resident of Grove Hill, he was a member of First Assembly of God in Whatley.
He is survived by two brothers, L.J. Bolen and Bryant Bolen, both of Jackson.
Funeral services are scheduled today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will be at Peniel Cemetery in Jackson.
