Friends may call on Tuesday from 3 – 9 P.M. at Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Cover Funeral Home followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundee.
Besides Judy, her companion of 31 years, she is survived by a sister Kathleen (Robert) Platt of Dearborn Heights and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Lucille Marie (Robert) Ritchie.
Rose enjoyed many things in her life including fishing, water color painting, nature photography, gardening, genealogical research and a cabin in the north. She was a charter member of the Old Mill Museum, and an active member of the Dundee Business and Business Professionals, DABA, and Habitat for Humanity. Those who knew her were blessed with her caring and thoughtfulness and now she begins a new journey.
As flowers were her life and passion, a remembrance of flowers or a donation to the Old Mill Museum would be appreciated.
