Served as a Captain in the 3rd Regiment Orange Co.Militia of New York, appointed May 24, 1775, re-appointed February 26, 1778, resigned his commission Mach 18, 1783. Also served as Captain of the Goshen Regiment of New York. He signed the Articles of associations of Minisink, range County Militia.
His family Records indicate he was born March 24, 1744/45, married Anna Van Etten, 1787.
