Final rites were held Tuesday from the Driskill mortuary chapel for Mrs. Ellen Stockdale, pioneer Grant county resident, who died early Sunday morning following a long illness. The Mr. Vernon woman had been hospitalized almost constantly for the last two years.
Officiating at the funeral services was the Rev. Kenneth Thomas of the Mr. Vernon Presbyterian church, of which Mrs. Stockdale was an active member.
Interment was in the Canyon City cemetery under direction of the Driskill Mortuary.
