Funeral services for Shirley Elizabeth Weeks, age 74, were Monday, November 23, 2009 in the Chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home and conducted by Rev. John Norvell.
Miss Weeks died Friday, November 20, 2009 in Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born in Adamsville, TN, daughter of the late Joseph Talmadge and Margie Evelyn Walker Weeks and moved to the Jackson area as a child, receiving her education in the local schools. She worked for the former Spragins, Menzies and Spragins Law Firm, and later for Chancery court from which she retired. Miss Weeks was a member of First Baptist Church of Bemis.
She is survived by her sister, Louise W. Goodrich; niece, Amy Goodrich Rhea; great nephew, Taylor Joseph Goodrich Rhea all of Jackson.
