James Estes Alcorn: Funeral services for the late James Estes Alcorn, 75, will be Saturday January 25, 1992 at 2:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Trumann, AR. Rev J. I wells, Rev L.H. Hood & Rev J. Lockhart will be officiating.

James Estes Alcorn 75, born November 20, 1916 died January 21, 1992 at 3:40 p.m. at St.
Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro AR. Born in Augusta, AR he had lived most of his lifetime in the Trumann area. He was a retired
farmer an a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at Judd Hill were he was a deacon and usher and served on many boards until his death. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Josephine Meade Alcorn in 1981; one daughter, Mrs. Lunia Bass in 1985 and he was the son of the late Emanuel and Annie Bell (Eins) Alcorn.
Mr. Alcorn is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Reed & Mrs. Tillie Holliman of
Omaha, Neb. Mrs. Josephine Laird of Nashville, TN, Mrs. Earsie Alcorn-deFeliz of Trumann
AR. Six sons James W Alcorn Jr. & Billy Joe Alcorn of Omaha, Neb. Freddie Lee Alcorn of
Council Bluff, Iowa, Jerry & Terry Alcorn both of Trumann, AR and Eddie Anthony Alcorn of
Jonesboro AR. Four sisters Mrs. Dorothy Alcorn of Newport AR, Mrs. Earsie Lee Hill of
Thermal, Calif., Mrs. Sarah Jane Miller of Augusta, AR & Mrs. Lulla Mae Cornelious of Lake
City AR. Two brothers, Nathaniel Alcorn of Kansas City MO, Emanuel Alcorn Jr. of Waukegan
ILL.

Services under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home, and burial at Judd Hill Cemetery.
