Alive Frances Andrews of McMurray, age 86, on Wednesday, August 7, 2002; beloved wife of the late Russell S. Stitzer; loving mother of Steven Stitzer of Ellicott City, MD; daughter of the late Alfred Herman and Fannie Andrews; sister of the late Evelyn Andrews Bennett. She was a graduate of Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland and worked for a time as a social worker in Dorchester County. During WWII she served as a Medical Field Agent for the Selective Service System. She was married in 1946 and settled in Peters Township in 1950. In 1954 Mrs. Stitzer began teaching in Peters Township Schools, after she received her Masters Degree from the University of Pittsburgh she became a Guidance Counselor in Peters and retired in 1983. She was a member of Peters Creek Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS
