Mrs. Oren Bales

Mrs. Bridget Bales, 78, the widow of Oren Bales, died last night at her home 2113 South 3d street.

A native of Agency, she had resided in St. Joseph the past 40 years. Mrs. Bales was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles Haynes, Mrs. Della Waldeier and Mrs. Catherine Russell, all of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Lela Stufflebean, Thayer, Mo.; three sons, Jay Bales, Floyd Bales and Oren Bales, all of St. Joseph; two brothers, George Turner, Smithville, Mo., and Buford Turner in California; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Rupp mortuary.

Funeral services will conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Rupp chapel for Mrs. Bridget Bales, the Rev. Charles Vinzant officiating. Burial will be in the Agency Cemetery, Agency, Mo.

A native of Agency, Mrs. Bales had made her home here for 40 years. She died Monday night at her home, 2113 South 3d street. She was 78 years old.

Mrs. Bridget Bales, 78, the widow of Oren Bales, died last night at her home 2113 South 3d street.

A native of Agency, she had resided in St. Joseph the past 40 years. Mrs. Bales was a member of the Baptist Church.
