Robert J. Breuer, 69, of 9800 S. Warren, Oak Lawn, Ill., formerly of Dubuque, died of an apparent heart attack Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, at work.

Mr. Breuer was finance manager for Toyota, Oak Lawn.
He was born on May 4, 1931, in Glen Haven, Wis., son of Leo and Laura (Casanova) Breuer. He married Hilda Witt.
He moved to the Chicago area in 1958.
He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving with the Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda (Witt) Breuer; a son, Jeffrey (Dr. Claudette) Breuer, of Hinsdale; a grandson, Jack Breuer; two step-children, Dr. Donald (Kristine) Witt and Denise (Teo) Kawa; four step-grandchildren, Susanne and Vanessa Witt and Erick and Nichole Kawa; a sister, Dolores Christ, of East Dubuque; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo, on Sept. 6, 1976; and his mother, Laura, on Dec. 4, 1992.
