He was born August 22, 1946 to June and Helen Ferre. Reed had a passion for muscle cars and hot rods, he never missed a car show or cruise night with the many friends he made that became like family to him. He enjoyed his profession as a gun show promoter.
Reed was known for his generosity and kindness he showed to everyone. He loved spending time in the outdoors, fishing, riding ATV's, and horseback riding; he also loved taking the occasional trip to Wendover. Reed also was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survived by his son, daughter, and three granddaughters. Preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
