Marie was Louisa Marie or Marie Louisa. She did not marry till she was 54 and married a man 20 years older then her but he still outlived her by 6 years. She at one time ran the only Woman owned manufacture in Ohio. She made White Wave washing powder and she made it at her family farm on river tract 33. She did very well at it and was very wealthy. After getting married she and Washington Weld Tryon traveled the world. She came down with TB. The family accused her husband of neglect at this point but he was already in his 80s and probably senile. She was known to all as Aunt Rie. She never had any children as she spent her child bearing years looking after her mother.
