Anne was a member of Sewickley Presbyterian Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the PEO, and the Garden Club of Sewickley. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting, needlepoint, and gourmet cooking. Most importantly of all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan H. Anderson. Surviving are her 3 children, Peter H. Anderson of Scottsdale, AZ, John A. Anderson and wife Sheila of Mechanicsburg, and Barbara A. Carruthers of Worthington, OH; 5 grandchildren, Amelia May Anderson, Katharine A. Pratt, Alan H. Anderson, II, Thomas "Tuck" Hetherington Carruthers, VI, and Anne Clark Carruthers; as well as by her sister Jill Kent of Longmeadow, MA, brother and sister-in-law Paul and Carol Anderson of Richfield, CT, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held privately. Interment will take place in Sewickley Cemetery at the convenience of the family
