The bride wore a gown of white georgette and carried white bride roses. She was attended by Miss Genevieve Hoagland of Rochester, as bridesmaid, who was attired in pink silk. Willard Bennett of Venice Center acted as best man.
After congratulations a wedding dinner was served to the company of 75 guests. The bride's table was prettily decorated with pink and white flowers.
The out of town guests were from Syracuse, Rochester, Groton, Moravia, Poplar Ridge and Genoa.
The couple were the recipients of many beautiful and valuable gifts, including silver, cutglass and currency.
Mr. and Mrs. Peckham left for a wedding trip and on their return will be at home to their friends at the home of the groom in the town of Scipio.

Charles Oscar Peckham, 66, of Poplar Ridge, a life resident of the Town of Scipio, died Monday, May 15, 1961 in Auburn Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Peckham was born in the Town of Scipio, Cayuga, N.Y on November 9, 1894, the son of Fred J. and Minnie E. Richardson Peckham. His father, Fred J. Peckham, died when Charles was 7 years old and his mother Minnie married Mr. Glenn D. Smith.
Mr. Peckham was a member of Cayuga Lodge 221, F&AM of Scipio Center; Poplar Ridge Lodge IOOF 437 and Ridgeway Rebekah Lodge 337 of Poplar Ridge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Streeter Peckham; two daughters, Mrs. Alma (Joseph) Rice of Travis AFB, California and Mrs. Eleanor (Richard) Marks of Moravia and nine grandchildren - Marianne, Debra, Karen, Sandra, Pamela Rice and Charles, Roxanne, Charlene and Paul Marks.
Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, May 18, 1961 at his home and burial will be in Ridgeway Cemetery, Poplar Ridge.
