Dave Anthony Cox, age 53, of Locust Grove, Georgia, died April 10, 2009. He was born in Sacramento, California, on November 17, 1955. Mr. Cox enjoyed fishing, horse shoes, bowling, and dancing. He was a member of the McDonough Moose Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, son, but most of all, a friend to many. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Levi Cox and sister, Debra Ann Little.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Donna Marie Cox, Locust Grove; mother, Dorothy Cox, Rantoul, Illinois; sons, Brent Cox and Shawn Cox, Illinois; daughters, Casey McNear, Florida, Jessica Cox, Illinois; stepsons, Todd Campbell, East Point, Kevin Campbell, Locust Grove; sisters, Darla Pierce, Illinois, Deanna Cox, North Carolina; brother, Doug Cox, Florida; 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on April 16 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Rev. Dave Riley and Father John Murphy officiating. Interment at Georgia National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m
