Born in San Angelo, graduated from Ballinger High School in 1942, married Wesley Oscar Brown of Talpa, Texas on December 23, 1943. She and Oscar could not have children. Betty was a survivor of polio which left her with frail legs. She and Oscar loved their many nephews and nieces. She lost her beloved in 1968 and lived out her days in Winters, Texas.
