Jesup - Mr. Derrick F. Anderson, a native of Wayne County, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008. Mr. Anderson was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church, an avid outdoorsman and loved motorcycle riding. In addition, Mr. Anderson had been a truck driver for many years.
Survivors are one daughter, Krisila Jewel Anderson and one son, River Farrington Anderson, parents, Larry and Doris Anderson, all of Jesup, one brother, Kevin Anderson of Jesup and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m. at Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harris and Rev. Mark Ledbetter officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment: will be in church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Anderson, Robert Hendrix, Brett White, Ben Rozier, Randy Herrin, Paul Van Elk and Royce Williams.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to Mothers Against Substance Abuse, P.O. Box 764, Jesup, Georgia 31598.
