Isaac Peck was the son of Aaron Moseley and his wife Anna Thomas of Dryden Twp., Tompkins, NY, both buried in the Old Peruville, NY cemetery.

Issac was married twice. He married 1) Mary Jane Abbey on 12/25/18??, she died 10/10/1873; and 2) Tam E. Peck of NY state on 1/30/1887 in MI; she died after giving birth to a daughter (who died at birth) in 1890.

When he died, he was a land owner in both Ingham and Eaton counties, MI. His home was on Waverly Road about a mile west of Onondaga, Ingham, MI, near Eaton Rapids, Eaton, MI.

93rd Birthday Party:

Isaac was a well-loved figure in the family circle. In 1927, a newspaper article reviewed a family gathering in Onondaga, Ingham, MI, celebrating the 93rd birthday of Isaac. Some attendees were: "John and Minnie Warner and family, Fred Warner, wife Alma and son Raymond, Williamston, MI; William A. Peck and wife, Syracuse, NY; Bert Chapman, Los Angeles, CA; Charlotte Lake, Lansing, MI; Nettie Kolle, Hasting, MI; Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Barnum, Hastings, MI; Mr. and Mrs. L. Gibson, C.H. Carr, Fannie Carmhan, I.A. Jackson, and Mr and Mrs. Earl B. Fry, all of Lansing, MI; Mrs. L.M. Moseley, Pontiac, MI; W.H. Puddy, Oxford, MI; B.F. Rossman, Onondaga, MI; Mr. and Mrs. Farnham, Laingsburg MI; Leora Winfield, Ovid, MI; Mable Wilcox, Onondaga, MI; Margaret Robinson, Detroit, MI; Mary Barnum and Homer Fox, Battle Creek; and S.J. "This picture of "Uncle Ike" [Isaac Peck Moseley, in findagrave, buried MI] was taken at 131 West Robinson St., Jackson, Jackson, Mich. The two Brown children in the picture, plus Eleanor Brown, b. 28 Jan. 1932, were the family of Ambrose F. Brown, b. 1894, d. ___; m. 16 June 1920 at Jackson, MI, Mabel Ivaline Fish. Mabel was b. 13 Sept., 1896 in Onsted, Lenawee Co., MI. She d. 7 Jan. 1965 in Jackson, buried Onsted.

"Mable I. Fish was the daughter of Squire J. Fish (note that Squire attended the Moseley family reunion), and Squire's wife Mary Rogers was b. 27 Nov. 1865 at Fayette, Seneca, NY; d. 17 Feb. 1938 in Jackson [MI]; daughter of George S. Rogers and wife, Ellen T. Watrus. There was but only one other child, Vincent Fish, b. 15 Aug. 1888.

"Squire's parents were John A. Fish, b. ___, Locke Twp., Cayuga Co., NY (son of Titus Fish, Jr. and wife, Electa MOSELEY), who m. Esther Jane Cook, b. ca 30 Aug. 1840 in NY state; d. 17 Sept. 1933 in Jackson Co., MI., daughter James Cook & wife, (_). Besides Squire there was Erman Fish, b. 13 Jan. 1859 in Cayuga Co., NY; d. 18 Mar. 1936 at Jackson, MI; m. Tillie Mae Robinson. Also: Elula Jane Fish, b. 13 Sept. 1875 Springport Twp., Jackson Co., MI; d. 7 Mar. 1951 in Jackson; m. William Randle.

"Electa Moseley, b. 1 May 1801 in Whitingham Twp,, Windham Co., VT; d. 13 July 1871, perhaps in Cayuga Co., NY; m. 1 Mar. 1825 in Groton, NY, daughter of Joseph Moseley, Jr. and wife, Susanna Young [auntie to Brigham Young, Mormon leader]. Electa (Moseley) Fish was a sister to Aaron Moseley [my 3rd great-grandpa], father of Isaac Peck Moseley---of our picture. The 1870 census shows Electa M. Fish in Springport Twp., MI, in son John's family near Parma, MI. At that time Isaac [Peck] Moseley lived near Onondaga, Ingham, MI, not far away."
